Margarida Brazão

Holds a master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from Universidade Lusófona, and is currently junior psychologist at the center PIN – Partners in Neuroscience. 

Has training in Art Therapy (Metáfora Art Therapy, Barcelona – 2020) and in Plastic Arts (Metáfora Art & Process, Barcelona – 2020).

As a visual artist, has developed solo exhibitions (Rota das Especiarias, 2016 – Funchal; Mulher, a quanto obrigas – Reguengos de Monsaraz, 2020) and has participated in group exhibitions and art markets (Ponto, 2014 – Funchal; Mercado La Santa Pera, 2020 – Barcelona; Islands 2020 Isolation, 2020 – Funchal).

Currently, she develops the painting and textile production project Margarida Selvagem.

In the performing area, she practiced classical ballet (2006 – 2013) and was a federated sports dance athlete.

It is in the link between psychology and the world of the arts that she finds her greatest fulfillment.
